The Defilement of Wisdom
I have heard the cries of my daughter, Wisdom. Whom I have sent to guide my children. I called her along with my Son and yet when I have turned to behold her I find her dress torn open and her body defiled.
You have left her for me to find like a discarded whore. You have stolen her dignity and honor.
O Wicked Children!
She was to walk in fellowship with you and yet after refusing to heed her words and abuse her spirit and body I have taken her away from you.
I will deliver her into the hands of the Gentiles, who have learned from her knowledge and will cherish her like a beloved wife.
The Loss of Wisdom
Hear me, Children, and Listen!
Without her guidance, you will be as mumbling fools. Your speech will be that of clanging cymbals and ringing gongs. You will think you speak with love, and yet the Gentiles hear you rightly and cover their ears to your evil words.
Without her knowledge, pestilence and ignorance will consume you. Yet it will not consume the Gentiles, who have welcomed my daughter’s knowledge and treated her with love and listen to her. You will say, “The Gentiles hide things from us!” And not see that my daughter offers her fruit freely.
Without her humility, you will say, “I speak for the Lord!” And the Gentiles will respond, “Are these not the people who have rejected the Lord and his teachings, who oppress their neighbor and destroy their enemies?”
Without her sight, you will be blind to your own iniquities. You will say, “We are God’s chosen!” And the Gentiles will laugh at you and say, “What Hypocrites! Are not these the people who have chosen from themselves a corrupt king who has rejected the teachings of their God?”
Without her love, your hearts will be that of cast iron, and you will kill and slaughter while professing my name. The land will flow with blood, and the Gentiles will be in terror of you. They will flee from me because of you.
Without her understanding, you will be deaf to the suffering of your own creation. You will say, “Repent, and turn to the Lord!” The Gentiles will rebuke you and say, “Are not these the people who have destroyed the forests and creatures of God? Are not these the people who have taken our water from us and wage war on the nations and our friends?”
Without her mercy, you will be cruel tyrants to the nations. You will be a slave to the sword, and yet your sword will fail you.
They Expose their Hypocrisy
In your foolishness, you will cry, “The Gentiles are killing us!” While you hold the knife to your own throat and spill your own blood.
The world will see your sins laid bare and will mock you and say “Are these the followers of the Anointed One? They murder each other with the sword, lay with prostitutes, steal food from the mouths of the hungry and money from hands of the needy.”
You will say, “Come, follow our Lord!” And they will rebuke you and say, “Your Lord wants to destroy my beloved companions! We must resist him!” and in your madness, you will believe they are rejecting me, when they are rejecting your corruption and pride.
Your arrogance has sickened me, and I will vomit you out like stagnant water. I will tear your cloak and leave you bare as you have done to my daughter. Your nakedness and shame has been seen by all the tribes of the Earth.
Your houses of worship will be barren; the spirit of my love and mercy has departed from you. You will be persecuted not because of your worship of me, but because of your cruelty.
You have led the whole earth astray from me because of your hate.
He Reveals their Adultery
Your adultery with Babylon has been exposed to all! There is not one Gentile under the sun that does not perceive your nakedness. You profess my name, yet you kiss her feet and covet her gold and silver.
You speak of your allegiance to me, yet you have set up for yourselves a king who is against me. Who makes images of himself in precious metals. The only name that leaves his lips is his own. He commits adultery and oppresses the poor.
Foolish children! You would dare compare him to the hearts of the kings of old? Woe to you for your inability to discern good from evil!
You boast of your purity, yet you are like infants who feed upon Babylon’s diseased breasts. You are like drunkards on wine, whose speech is slurred and anger enflamed. Your soul is like a rotten fruit, good only for the trash heap.
Babylon’s throne is that of a mountain of swords. You flee to her for safety, yet you will be cut down by the very swords she has given you. And because of your foolishness, you will say to her, “O Babylon! Give us more arms that we may defend ourselves!”
You confuse her prophets for mine. Their poisoned words taste like honey to your tongues. Her words flow with hatred like a thundering waterfall, yet because of your lust for her, you have deceived yourselves and call it love.
In honor of Babylon, you have persecuted my prophets and hung them upon the trees. You have rejected the beggar and the widow. You make war upon the nations and the Gentiles. You do such evil things in my name. You hypocrites! Does your faith mean so little to you?
You have taken their shackles off of them and say to the world, “Look, we have freed them from oppression!” Yet you fail to see your boot on their necks and your sword in their chest. The Gentiles perceive you with open eyes, yet you are blind.
The Idol of Ink and Paper
With your words, you proclaim your love to me, yet you bow down to idols of ink and paper. Instead of relying on the spirit of love I have given you, you smother its voice underneath its many pages.
From its words, you have crafted gods of hatred and oppression. In your absurdity, you say to yourselves, “Look! Look! The word of the Lord!” Yet read the words of flawed men.
No scripture can capture me in a bottle. Return to the infinite spirit of my Love and abandon the temptations of hatred.
The Unyielding Power of Love
Because of your wicked tongues and violent ways, you will lead the world astray. The Gentiles will turn from me, but in doing so will perceive the vastness of my Being, for there is no corner of creation where I am hidden from sight.
Some will perceive my unbounded Love for them and yet not understand it. Because of this, they will be closer to me than my own children, who profess their love for me with their lips but hate me with their hearts.
Others shall despair because of you. For you have stolen their hope from them for no cause other than your pride. You have ruined my name upon the earth. They will reject me because of you and will resist you!
The Lord’s Rebuke
Woe to any Gentile who is deceived by your words! Who ought to distrust you and resist you! For your deceptions will subject them to the noose I have prepared for Babylon and her prophets!
Woe to you, my children! For you will cry out to me and I will not heed your call. For any words I utter to you, you will go to Babylon’s Prophet and say, “What does he mean?” And she will say to you “Hate your neighbor and your enemy and Love only me.”
Did I not craft the world for you? Did I not call it Good? Do I not love the creatures of the field and the birds that fly? Then why do you defile what I have made for you! Repent! For the seas will boil and the land will burn because of your arrogance!
When the destruction of your land comes to pass and the Anointed One does not return as you hoped, you will despair and say “Lord, why have you forsaken us!” and I will be silent. For you have cursed yourselves and your descendants to endure and perish upon the ruined world that you have made.
You will say, “Did we not support your firstborn? We protected them from doom! Were we not building your kingdom on earth?” I will be silent for my will is my own. In your arrogance, you thought you could force my hand. I cannot be moved, the time is of my own choosing.
Woe to you for your allegiance to pretenders! For they slaughter and starve their siblings in my name, and I hear their cry of anguish!
You will say, “Did we not keep your commandments?” And I will be silent. For you have failed to keep the simplest of these commands. Which is to love, and be loved.
The Final Word
How much longer must I suffer your iniquities? The Gentiles chafe against your hypocrisy. Your prayers to me taste like bile. Your posturing of holiness is like a thin sheet covering a bloated corpse. How long must I suffer your vanity? You speak in my name while you neglect the poor and the stranger and oppress my children!
How long must I wait for you to learn to love one another as I have loved you?
You have hardened your hearts to me so much that you have made me into an image of hate and destruction. You say to yourselves, “We are saved from our father’s wrath!”
What kind of father would reject one child and love the other? What father would cast his own children into the burning oven?
Do you think I am so powerless as to be unable to save all of my children?
The time of destruction is coming. But do not be discouraged! For beyond destruction lies renewal!
Behold! I am making all things new, and not one child will be forgotten. My daughter shall return, and the world will prosper again.
Those wayward children will not have the last word. Wisdom will endure long after they are dust.
My spirit of love will pierce the darkness you have created for the world. Even should they forget my name, they will not forget my touch.
You are to love one another, everyone, as I have loved you. Love each other and the world I have made. So that you and your descendants may be saved from the fire.
